Gale snorts, she had him there. Though he honestly didn't know why he made the room. "I suppose you have a point there. Though I can honestly say I don't remember."Gale cracks his knuckles in his left hand, and raises it to above his face to examine his gloved hand. After a loud crack he lowers his hand and moves his shoulders back for a moment to stretch them. Gale suddenly uses his right hand, which he had maneuvered behind Laena while he examed his other hand, to pull her face closer to his. He smirks slightly, and kisses Laena.

Laena, while slightly surprised at Gale's sudden actions, doesn't show it, nor does she mind. ((XP)) She responds by wrapping her arms around his neck and returning the kiss. |

One makes it to the door of the library and Opens it. He begins talking before he makes it inside. "Can't get any sleep in. Gonna grab a book-- !!!" One stops abruptly as he sees the scene before him. He stares for a second and then turns around quickly and heads back to his room and sleeps soundly for the rest of the night.

Rose gets out of bed and opens the door to her bedroom, frowning slightly. "Where is the kitchen?" Her stomach rumbles pathetically. She stands in the doorway, hesitant, thinking. Finally, she sighs and takes a step out, remembering, or at least hoping she remembers, where the kitchen is. Luck seems to be with her today. She browses around the kitchen, looking for food. Finally, she finds some peanut butter and bread. She opens the fridge and sighs. "That's right. Gale doesn't drink anything but wine." Rose taps her fingers against the fridge door for a second, thinking fast. With another sigh, she closes the door and gets a glass of water to go with her sandwhich. |

When Gale notices One gawking in the doorway (which took a moment or two). He quickly pulls away and almost falls out of his chair. He regains balance and shoots One a dark, venom-filled scowl. However, One had turned his back by this time and Gale had returned to his calm, emotionless look. He picks up a nearby book and starts to flip through it, as if the scene his older brother just witnessed never happend.

Laena stands up, not even acknowledging the fact that One was even there. She reaches over and takes the book from Gale, looking into his eyes once more. "Embarassed..?"

"Is that so..?" Laena had already gotten a taste of what she wanted, and she clearly was ready for more. She pulls up a chair next to him and starts messing with Gale's hair.

Gale tenses up when Laena starts to mess with his hair. Despite the fact he just kissed her, this was still somewhat uncomfortable. Especially after One seeing it. (:P). "

Gale doesn't get to the chance to respond to Laena before she kisses him. She sure was persistant. Gale assumed it was a Siren thing. Despite Gale being uncomfortable with this whole situation, he didn't have much protest either. He had done the same thing a few minutes ago. After a moment of inner debate he decieded that he had acted strange enough today already, and that some more rare acts couldn't hurt. Gale the pulls Laena closer to him and returns the kiss.

Gale smiles slightly and chuckles again. "I know you won't. You've already defied your nature enough not to kill me.." Conflicting thoughts proccess through Gale's brain. These new feelings were alien, not a part of what he was. More accurately, not part of what he had become. Gale had made the "mistake", as one might call it, of not dismissing this before earlier. Now there wasn't the possibility of ignoring this. The must he could do was refuse to acknowledged it, completely acknowledge it anyway. No matter what happend, he would bring the long awaited apocolypse to the world. He would end it. This was his purpose. Or that's what he told himself every time he thought about it.
Gale rises after a moment and stretches. "I have a bit of research to do tomorrow...and that brat to train. I'll be going out of Estecia. I don't care if you and One decied to tag along." Gale starts to walk in the direction of his bedroom. |

Her face falls, although it is not because of Gale leaving. "Defied my nature.... The others.. they're going to kill me..." She shakes the thought out of her head, and smiles at Gale. "I am sorry to say I won't be joining you, I have other.. pressing matters to attend to.."

Gale blinks for a moment and then shrugs. "Whatever." He turns and opens the door out of the library and to the hallway to his room. He speaks as he opens it. "You can take the room you found, I have no use for it." Gale shuts the door quietly and walks to his room.

She sighs slightly, then disappears into the secret room, where she curls up under the covers, staring blankly at the intricately painted wall.

Gale stands in the center of the library, where he had be stretching a moment ago. Despite the size of the castle, he spent a lot of time here. It was almost time to wake the brat up and start her training, and he hadn't seen One or Laena. Unless they had left before he woke up. He cracks his knucles and sheathes Sin. He'd give the kid a few more minutes. Or to be more truthful, he'd give himself a few more minutes to chill. |

One had also been up, he was training outside in the snow. He figured it was good for endurance. After a while he made his way inside the castle to the kitchen area where he proceeded to make his breakfast.

Laena appears in the library from her room, although there is clearly something different about her. She appears pale and sickly, as if she had stayed up all night upset about something. She glances up at Gale, then smiles. "Pleasant morning.."

She's quiet for a moment. "If you are going to train to fight.. Then perhaps it would make more sense that I join you.." She looks down. "We all must fight at least one fight of our lives, and I fear that mine is approaching quickly."

Gale nods, he now had an idea of what was bothering the Siren, but he thought it better not to mention it. "In a few minutes I'm going to find the kid and we're leaving. I want to get this done." Gale finds a half finished bottle of wine and drinks some of it.

Rose yawns and turns in her bed, trying to seek sleep out again. The battle, however, is futile. Yawning again, she slides out of bed to sit cross-legged on the floor. The stone is cold, but she doesn't even seem to mind. Closing her eyes, she remembers the words her father told her.
((whee...flashback...)) Rose, about two years younger, watches her father Katayk sitting on the ground of some woodland. It's late morning, not yet noon. Katayk is a late sleeper. He sits crosslegged, his eyes closed. After a moment of profound thought, the demon father opens his eyes and beckons his daughter near. Rose happily walks over and sits crosslegged next to her dad. "Rose, focus your energy, your senses. Become one with who you are. The power to fight comes from within. It is drawn from the will to live. Find the power...find life." Rose mutters these words to herself. "Find the power...find life. Power. Life. Ah...crap!" She glares at a wingtip. "Too much power! I'm a demon!" Sighing, she uncrosses her legs and stands. Too bad about transforming, there is nothing she can do about it. Rose scowls. "Really need to be able to control that..." |

One notices Gale and Laena, he greets them. "Hello. Gale, are we going to get the training started? If so, I will go wake up the kid." With that, One puts his food down and heads to the dungeons.

Gale takes out a folded-up map from a pocket in his vest, he had taken it from the library. It was fairly new, it even had locations that had been hidden for some time. The easily recognizable were Estecia, New Myria, and the ruins of Obersin in the desert. Capital was no were to be found. Not surpising, the Angels didn't like mortals snooping around. Got them into to much trouble, Gale imagined. However, he already could figure out where it was. He had been there before, and it seems the Angels never found out. It seems that Gale had trouble with renegades for the most part. "Damnit, I've forgotten how out of the way it is." Gale thought for a moment before standing, taking the map, and going into the hallways again.

Laena's search for food was rather futile, Gale wasn't kidding when he said he rarely eats.. She pulls out of bottle of red wine, then pulls off the cork with her bare hands. "Such simple pleasures for mortals.. I wonder.. if I'll ever feel such a thing.." She tilts her head back and takes a drink of the wine.

Gale had made his way to a garage that was rather empty. He rarely drove anything. He looked for a suitable vehicle for the trip into the wilderness, and eventually comes to a jeep. "How the bloody hell did I get this? ...Whatever, It'll do." Gale grabs the keys and turns back. He'll tell everyone to come here so they could go.

The wine bottle falls to the floor and shatters. Laena gags, clutching her throat, and looking quite ready to vomit. She takes a deep breath and swallows. "Ugh.. I don't think.. I'll ever understand this.." She turns and walks to her room to pull her hair back.

Gale walks into the kitchen and sees that everyone has gone. He frowns, and walks into the library. "I go to get keys and everyone wanders off..."
